So I came in for some touch ups at Completely Bare today and realized I never told you the end results of my laser hair removal experience! I am happy to report that after 5 treatments I am about 85-90 percent hair free with no shaving. It's a dream. I would recommend this to anyone who does not enjoy a)shaving everyday, b)enjoys being smooth and sexy, c) does not enjoy razor burn or associate it with attractiveness. To me the only thing less sexy than shaving was having razor burn by your bikini line or under our arms. Nothing says I'm not a lady like razor burn. It basically screams, hey I am a hairy beast, I tried to disguise it and here is the evidence that the hair once was here. That said a few soft hairs do pop up once in a while but they are sparse and very easily shaved. Definitely nothing course like most people experience under their arms. I am the ideal candidate, fair skin and dark hair so if you fit that bill 

Added bonus: when you apply chemical filled deodorant it won't go directly into your bloodstream because you will not have to shave anymore!

I highly suggest hitting up Completely Bare if you want to shorten your everyday shower routine. I know I should be grateful not to have to worry for hair loss in women but ladies, we have it rough!

I recently had the pleasure to visit Bareburger in Greenwich Village. The restaurant that boasts free-range, grass-fed meats and that to me is something splurge worthy! When I eat beef, grass-fed is the only way to go. In addition to the typical beef, turkey and veggie, Bareburger also offered portabella, lamb, elk, bison and ostrich – not my thang but people seemed pretty excited by it! Also, you get to choose among a brioche bun, multi-grain roll, iceberg lettuce wrap, a wheat flour rap, or a gluten-free tapioca rice bun.

We also ordered the pickle sampler, which was delish! The bread and butter pickes were my fave, followed in a close second by the spicy pickles and garlic pickles. They have tons of different fun burgers and amazing dipping sauces. 

At around $10 bucks a burger, Bareburger's prices are reasonable for a sit-down meal in the Village. I also appreciated the vegetarian options of both a veggie burger and a portobellow! And in warmer weather, the Greenwich Village location has some prime outdoor seating so you can devour your burger al fresco!

I'd say it's a must-try! The ambience is adorable and casual. The service is quick and friendly.

In the spirit of the holidays I thought I should share with you the most spectacular Christmas experience in NYC! You must go to Rolf's in NYC! It's incredible. Rolf's gives a new meaning to the term "Deck the Halls." You haven't seen Christmas decorations until you've seen this place. It's a rustic German pub that is completely covered floor to ceiling in tchochkes and Christmas decorations. It's as New York as street-food or Rockefeller center! It's definitely a must-see during the holidays. I must warn you the crowds are not like anything you've ever seen. You literally CANNOT get yourself to the bar easily. I recommend going for dinner, which is delightful. We had the potato pancakes and the beef stew with spaetzel (Vegan cheaters I know!) The beers are so enormous you can barely lift them with one hand. But let me just tell you they come with a rather hefty pricetag as well (a bit of a shocker when our bill arrived). I think they were about $25- but to be fair they are about the size of 3 beers. Just be prepared, the food aint cheap either. Also, Rolf's only accepts reservations for parties of 5 or less. They will NOT let you add an extra person. Trust me, we tried. 

I highly recommend a visit but be sure you make a reservation for dinner unless you want to be crammed up against a wall in between 4 other wasted beer-guzzlers!. The ambiance will make you feel like you've really experienced the holiday season! The delightful array of German pilsners and hefeweissen will satisfy your yearning for the Christmas spirit! I don't think these photos do it justice you'll just have to go and see for yourself!
