Glamhouse has inked a deal with Kendall and Kylie Jenner to design a fashion jewelry line geared toward teens and tweens, it was announced today by Glamhouse Founder and President Pascal Mouawad.

The first jewelry endeavor for the sisters, 16-year-old Kendall and 14-year-old Kylie, will reflect their own fun, girlie, yet edgy fashion sensibilities, and is due to launch late Fall 2012/Holiday 2013.  Yet to be named, the collection is aimed at girls 12-19 and the collection’s pieces will be priced between $19.99-$69.99. The line will be sold at national retail stores, to be announced.

“For a long time I’ve looked to expand the Glamhouse brand portfolio with a younger, more affordable line,” explains Mouawad.  “With their popular show on E! Entertainment Television, millions of teenagers look to Kendall and Kylie for style advice, so they were truly a perfect fit for the company and I’m thrilled to partner with them.”

“We love accessories, and it's amazing that we’re going to have our own line to be able to wear everyday – and for our friends to wear, too!”  say Kendall and Kylie.

Stella and Dot! Loving the Layered Necklace Look!

The other day I ran into my friend on the street, don't you just love that. Anyway, she had the cutest necklaces on. She told me that she's a jewelry rep for Stella and Dot. I immediately had to go online and look up the necklaces. While I was there I found the above video, which I found really interesting.  Anyway, I loved this "On the Mark" necklace. She paired it with the "Ever After" necklace (bottom photo). Each are only $49 and absolutely darling, if you ask me!

To search for other necklaces please visit Stella and Dot by clicking the link prior. Also if you have any questions please contact Allysa Axelband through the website. You can host a jewelry party too for your friends! See more details here

On another neck-a-lace-lace-lace note, who doesn't love a little Ke$ha!?! She's got Jesus on her Neck-a-lace-es-es…

PS I got no compensation or jewelry to write this post. I just really loved it!

Guess what time it is? Time to get a (Tank) watch!

Just when you thought designer jewelry couldn't get any pricier, it does! Cartier is going up starting July 1st so you better act fast if you've got your eyes on a Tank watch! Prices will be increasing as much as 10-20% depending on collections though we suspect it will be their classic collections that take the hit. Tiffany just raised prices about 10% a couple weeks ago also! And we hear Van Cleef & Arpels will join suit sometime in July! So bottom line is, if you are planning on getting something, get it soon!

A chic soiree was held last Thursday celebrating the opening of famed jewelry designer and 2010 CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Alexis Bittar’s three West Coast stores. Hosted at the brand’s new digs in Venice Beach, the evening included the presence of brand friendly celebrities including Lauren Hutton, Alessandra Ambrosio and Camryn Manheim as well as a slew of L.A. socials.

Between mingling and munching on Sprinkles’ cupcakes, guests browsed Bittar’s Fall collection and enjoyed the décor of the brand’s latest space, which boasts whitewashed floors and a taxidermy installation from artist Frank J. Zitz.

Adding to the merriment of the occasion, Alizé liqueur provided custom cocktails for the evening, the Bittar Bubbly and Venice Gem, whose vibrant colors and inviting taste paralleled the brand’s eclectic and stylish aesthetic.

Here are the recipes of Alizé’s Alexis Bittar-inspired concoctions.

Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend!

Having recently gotten engaged I know the rollercoaster ride that comes with the area of ring shopping. Usually most girls experience the same five stages: The five stages of ring shopping…1)You're scared he's not going to do it…EVER. Then one night he gets a little romantic and says something like 2) Hey baby, do you know what kind of ring do you like? 3) You wonder if he's going to ever bring it up again and he goes on his own to see prices, cuts, clarity, etc. only to be completely confused. 4) He asks you to go shopping with him to clarify what you mean by the "perfect" ring. 5) You impatiently wait and wonder if he's ever going to do it. For me, living in NYC there are an abundant amount of diamond dealers. Too many so much that it can become overwhelming. The solution? Did you know you can buy diamonds online? You can pick out wedding bands, diamond studs and even engagement rings at Abazias!!

It's so cool. You can choose your ring by price, cut, clarity, color and size. It's like a magical place where diamond rings are created! And it's a publicly traded company, it's not some shady website run out of someone's basement. Get the diamond you want, not the one in a display case. Many jewelry stores only stock a small number of diamonds, depending on cut, clarity, etc. it may not leave you with many options. That's why this website is so great. With such a huge selection to choose from, they can offer you a stone tailored to your exact preferences. Plus they have a 10 day return policy. You can get it, appraise it and show it to your Mom. If you're not satisfied you can return it and pick a different one. Now, I'm with you, it seems kind of scary to buy it without having seen it but the internet is the way of the future…Especially if you don't have access to the diamond district and your options are limited it really gives you limitless possibilities.
