Glamhouse has inked a deal with Kendall and Kylie Jenner to design a fashion jewelry line geared toward teens and tweens, it was announced today by Glamhouse Founder and President Pascal Mouawad.

 

The first jewelry endeavor for the sisters, 16-year-old Kendall and 14-year-old Kylie, will reflect their own fun, girlie, yet edgy fashion sensibilities, and is due to launch late Fall 2012/Holiday 2013.  Yet to be named, the collection is aimed at girls 12-19 and the collection’s pieces will be priced between $19.99-$69.99. The line will be sold at national retail stores, to be announced.

 

“For a long time I’ve looked to expand the Glamhouse brand portfolio with a younger, more affordable line,” explains Mouawad.  “With their popular show on E! Entertainment Television, millions of teenagers look to Kendall and Kylie for style advice, so they were truly a perfect fit for the company and I’m thrilled to partner with them.”

 

“We love accessories, and it's amazing that we’re going to have our own line to be able to wear everyday – and for our friends to wear, too!”  say Kendall and Kylie.

I had the chance to meet the folks over at ShaToBu last week to hear about their shapewear's calorie-burning qualities. ShaToBu confirms that its products really do increase calorie expenditure during walking.  The claim was confirmed through the exercise physiology program at the University of Virgiania Curry School of Education. The secret is in bands, which are sewn into the tights and shirts that make you burn calories as you move.

I can't personally say that I believe this but it's an interesting concept. Have you guys tried these out yet?

Yesterday Taylor Swift was at Macy's for a fragrance release. I could literally hear screaming girls from my office! Who cares about the stupid fragrance though. I loved her dress!!!

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of checking out Maggy London's showroom. Truth be told I had never really checked out the brand much despite many emails from their PR girls telling me about their celebrity fans. Well, I was so pleasantly surprised by what I found. An extremely affordable collection with a wide range of styles from fancy and funky to casual and conservative. 

Thank you Maggy London for sending me my favorite piece from the collection! Here are a couple other frocks in stores now! (These are available at Nordstrom). I am most impressed with the low price point for the quality of the dresses. Really they look just as well made as your traditional Nanette Lepore dresses. I think that Maggy London dresses are perfect for the fashionista on a budget–to be a little cliche! But seriously this gorgeous dress is only $168!

The other day I ran into my friend on the street, don't you just love that. Anyway, she had the cutest necklaces on. She told me that she's a jewelry rep for Stella and Dot. I immediately had to go online and look up the necklaces. While I was there I found the above video, which I found really interesting.  Anyway, I loved this "On the Mark" necklace.
