Scariest thing? Swimsuit season is approaching rapidly after some seriously indulgent holidays!

Solution? SPANX Swimwear!!

The last time the Spanx girls were in town I had the opportunity to check out their fabulous collections. They even had some swimsuit samples floating around! (I die!) You can all jump up and down in glee because your favorite shapewear you wear under your clothes is coming out! …and going to be available for the beach!

The line is going to include bikinis and one pieces! They are so freaking cute! I can’t wait to post more pics when they’re available! They should be stepping out late January so hold off on Spring Break shopping until then.

The cuts are all unique and flattering. I can’t wait to show you more!! I’ll of course put some to the test too so stay tuned! If they’re anything like they’re undergarment cousins they’re set to be miraculous!

Miami Spa Month is a month-long event where spas all around the Miami area are offering services for the bargain price of $99!

These services normally go for way more than that.  If you’ve been DYING for a facial somewhere luxurious (and who hasn’t with this insane swampy humidity??) then now is when you should treat yourself because the prices go back up in September.  Le booooo.

My friend got us on the list to the Shay Todd fashion show at the W on South Beach on Friday.

OMG–I had a blast!  Not only were we sitting in the front row, but I amused myself before the show began by spotting a few quasi-celebs.  (ie: reality TV star Dina from New Jersey Real Housewives and that blond photographer chick from Miami Social)

This was a true smartypanties experience.  Free tickets, front row, high-end swimwear fashion show.

Truth be told, I was unimpressed with the majority of the bathing suits.  I get that she was going for the “vintage pin-up girl look” for the suits, but they were high waisted and ill-fitting and looked more like control-top granny panties than couture swimwear.  And not to be rude, but the model who opened the show looked like she might’ve been born a man.

Despite the suits being underwhelming, I had a blast at the show…the production itself was gorgeous and the W seems like it would be a super fun place to have drinks and hang out.  Plus, NIVEA sponsored the show and gave us all canvas bags filled with NIVEA products!  I’ll be reviewing those shortly, so stay tuned, dolls!
