Best Oil Free Foundation That Will Cover Up What You Don’t Want Seen! Cover FX Natural FX Water Based Liquid Foundation

Lately we haven’t been so keen on the foundation. During summer the thought of slathering on greasy foundation that we envision dripping off later just doesn’t sound appealing. Right? Problem is my skin has pretty uneven tone in certain places so I need good coverage. I was into Bare Escentuals for a bit but it seemed to enlarge my pores (a fear, which was confirmed by Sam Fine who said loose mineral powders do this). I had been looking for a foundation that wouldn’t break me out but would cover me up. Enter Cover FX Natural FX Water Based Liquid Foundation.
How it goes on: It’s a little thicker than you would imagine and though it’s water based it’s not watery at all. In fact it’s a bit hard to apply without a brush.
Coverage: Amazing. It fills in my pores as well as (if not better than) my YSL oil free foundation.
It really combines the ultimate coverage of a cream and the blending ease of a fluid. Revolutionary Dermafix technology binds coverage to skin for optimum all-day wear, enhanced coverage and water-resistance. Dewy finish illuminates dry and mature skins. Skin looks younger, healthy and flawless.
It’s formulated with ingredients that reduce allergic reactions, irritation and blemishes. Vitamin E and bisabolol are anti-inflammatory actives which nourish while reducing skin redness and sensitivity. Vitamin E and antioxidants protect skin from damaging free-radicals. Emollients help skin feel rehydrated and smoothed.
As I mentioned it’s oil free and fragrance free and even has SPF! No parabens or pthlalates. COVER FX has evolved into a global complexion palette that offers the widest variety of coverage options, textures and finishes to match all skin tones and skin types. In addition, specially formulated skin products and professional application tools have been added to the line to offer a complete foundation system, allowing each person to become their own complexion expert.
Available at Nordies or Sephora for $40!
In my opinion there is no comparison to a drugstore brand.
