Becoming a Disney Princess would be my Dream come true so you could only imagine my delight when I was asked to attend Disney Fantasy Bridal Show by Kirstie Kelley. It was at the Waldorf Astoria. It was truly my very own dreams come true moment. I was totes loving the hair they did. It was pulled back into a tousled up-do with braids woven throughout and with a headband sitting lightly on top. It is a great look you can pull together in no time for a day of work when you don’t have time to shower or if you’re going to be a Disney Princess of course. There were the cutest little flower girl models at the show too that stole the heart of the crowd. They even showed a preview of the new
Smartypanties hits the show!

Damn those models are fast! Could barely catch them in my camera.
And in case you did not see the SNL Skit for Beauty and the Beast
Charlotte Ronson Fashion Week Backstage Learning About Beauty from Maybelline, Milani and Avon!
Sep 12, 2009 Author: Katie Lara | Filed under: Beauty, Hair Stylin', Makeup or Breakup?, Nailed It!Backstage at Charlotte Ronson, one of our fave designers, we learned about the hair and makeup for her 2009 runway show. For hair, which was done by Avon using Advanced Techniques products, Charlotte wanted it to look like the girls had just left dance class, a little disheveled and chaotic. They used the Voumizing Hairspray, which provided a flexible hold. The little pieces were intentionally left out framing the face to show your average girl and her natural beauty. The models looked gorgeous because well, they’re models. I’m not so sure I’d be able to pull the natural beautiful disaster messy look but they did it well.
Nails were done by Milani. They used Creme Brulee. A sheer, light neutral nail. Semi-opaque and very short and natural (no shimmer).
Makeup was done by Charlotte Willer for Maybelline. She drew inspiration from NYC chic meets ballet dancer. She used Mineral power, illuminating mineral power and a generous dusting of mineral power blush in gentle blush color. For lips the girls wor color sensational lips #15.For lashes they wore Lash Stiletto.
One of our fave parts–Charlotte’s other sis (not Sam) walked the runway for the show!

Warren Tricomi at the Douglas Hannant Fashion Show- Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Feb 21, 2009 Author: Katie Lara | Filed under: Fashion, Hair Stylin'
Warren Tricomi worked with designer Douglas Hannant and Edward Tricomi (co-owner of salon)
created the hair for the Douglas Hannant Fall 2009 Show at New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. They did the hair at the WT Salon in the Plaza Hotel.
To get the look follow these easy steps (and you may want to tone it down a little if you’re not walking the runway…or working the corner)
Step #1: Prep hair by making it straight and sleek and part hair to create a bottom and a top.
Step #2: Take the lower portion of hair and slick back with hair spray to create a French twist.

Step #3: Next tease the upper portion of the hair with hairspray and
create a bouffant and smooth over with a flat brush and hairspray.

(OK you don’t have to go this far)
Step #4: Pin back the bouffant to create a linear ponytail look and
spray for hold.

Ta Da!!!!
