Sex and the City Foldable Flats: More Like Sensible in the City
Mar 16, 2010 Author: Katie Lara | Filed under: Cheap Thrills, FashionWhen you think of Carrie Bradshaw gallavanting around Manhattan you probably think of 4 inch stilletos. That's all fine and good for people that can afford car services to do door to door dropoff but for the rest of us it's pretty impractical. I can just see my 4 inch Louboutins stuck in between the subway grates. Enter the most comfy and affordable flats inspired by each Sex and the City diva. The lovely people over at the HBO shop (you know, the guys who made the Love keychain inspired by Jennifer Hudson's character in the movie?) sent me over a pair to try on. Let me just tell you I walked to work today in my Tory Burches and my feet are all blistery. I actually changed into my perfect little pink SATC Foldable flats and my feet have been thanking me ever since. I love that you can also fold them up when you get somewhere and change into high heels. They make for the perfect getaway from a bad date or a mad dash to the subway. The best thing about them is that they hug your feet whereas my Tory's slip off every 10 steps. Today a creepy street worker asked me if I needed help while he watched me slipping the shoes back on.
And these bad boys won't set you back anywhere near as much as a pair of Jimmy Choos–they're $65 a pop! And they come in this adorable packaging.
