I’ve been struggling for quite a while to find a cleanser that I felt was organic enough but also got rid of my  makeup without overdrying my skin. That’s not asking too much is it?

I was just introduced to Tammy Fender’s Holistic Skin care. I’m now obsessed with Tammy Fender’s Purifying Cleansing Gel: Spearmint and Alfalfa.

It’s a little on the pricy side ($50.00) but if you’re going to treat yourself on something I’d opt for facial products (as opposed to hair or body). I mean, everyone sees your face first, right?

The cleanser is light and minty. It gets very foamy and really feels energizing while purifying at the same time. I love that the line uses herbs and essential oils and is based on traditions of holistic medicine.  Did you know that Alfalfa contains over 300 nutrients? Each formula is prepared in small batches and uses pure ingredients. I also like that the cleanser is in a glass bottle–we all know how I feel about the dangers of plastic. Obvs it’s not as cheap as Neutrogena but I think here it’s worth the extra money when you feel like treating yourself. Just my opinion though
