Lawyers + Cupcakes= True Love??

As many of you dolls know I graduated from the infamous New York Law School or NYLS as I lovingly call it. I took the Bar Exam and now work as a lawyer by day. While studying those last excruciating months my friend and I always joked about quitting and just opening up a cupcake shop! Well, Lev Ekster,  a fewllow NYLS alum has done just that!

Cupcake Stop is his creation. After he graduated he decided to ditch the bar exam and the meager offerings of the legal job market and  start Cupcake Stop, a the first mobile cupcake shop that brings NY’ers cupcakes on their own terms. The truck travels around the city and sells cupcakes to starving citygoers. You can even follow them on Twitter to find out where they’ll be delving out their delicious treats.

For those of you who know me, I’m quite the cupcake connoisseur. I’m an avid fan of the tiny treat and have them almost weekly. The best part though is how delicious they are. Honestly, the cupcakes put Magnolia and Buttercup to shame. In my opinion Magnolia’s cupcakes are dry and rock hard, I honestly don’t even eat them when I’m given them for free–and let me tell you, turning down free food is NOT a strength of mine. Buttercup’s frosting keeps me coming back but their cake is nothing to brag about. These cupcakes are divine. The frosting tastes like what my grandma used to make, it’s THAT good.

They also have the funnest flavors around!!  Brownie cheesecake, Key Lime, German Chocolate, Funfetti, Fluffernutter, Peppermint Chocolate, Black and white cookie cupcakes, Banana chocolate chip, Strawberry Shortcake and more! (and of course the usual suspects as well.)

I just couldn’t believe how fresh they were. Yum!! Find out when they’ll be in your hood below:
