Burt’s Bees Healthy Acne Treatment: Spot On! Natural Acne Solutions Review

I’m as depressed as you would think a 29-year old would be who is still having frequent breakouts. I also hate hate hate smothering my face in acne products that are spattered with chemicals and other drying agents.  Enter Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions.

I’m so excited that my fave brand, Burt’s Bees stepped into this arena. Here is  quick run-down:

It helps control acne without causing irritation. When I used Clearisil on the other side of my face on similar blemishes my face was far dryer than the Burt’s Bees side.

The key ingrediant is still Salicylic acid, which is derived from Willow Bark in Burt’s product. In most other acne products it’s synthetic, which truly scares me.  It also has Tea Tree extract which soothes the skin.

It is $9.99 for a small .26 fl. oz.  bottle (recyclable glass bottle–wahoo!). It is pretty small and kind of goes quickly if you’re not careful but to me the extra few bucks is worth it for a more natural and healthy product.
