Get Good Eyebrows Without Spending a Million Bucks!

I have two options in the arena of awesome Eyebrows! Now, you’ve gotta believe me I used to have some messed up ones myself and had been through some horror stories. Once I plucked about an inch too far in (sorry 7th grade me) once I had a terrible Russian woman make them paper thin (sorry Soph in college me) and I truly believe brows make your face! I finally found the best brow place inthe world–the Lancome Counter at Bloomies (or in Chicago at Marshall Field’s). The first time I went I thought I was going to cry–the lady told me my brows made my face look deformed and that they were apostrophes. I said, okay fix me up! I’ve never strayed since! I go to Janet who is f-ing amazing in NYC but she doesnt really take on new peeps anymore. Gabrielle and Lilly are the other girls and both do amazing work!
However, being the cheap bitch that I am, I don’t go as often as I should. I usually tweeze to keep up hte shape and just follow the great shape Lancome gave me. Then a PR girl I work with insisted I try Christi Harris’ Precision Brow Planning System. I told her not to bother sending me the sample. She insisted and said just to try it no pressure. It sat around in the samples box for a few weeks and then one day for whatever reason I opened it. Now this multi-step kit walks you through planning your entire arch and everything. To be honest I didn’t use that part I just took out the crazy little tool it came with–I don’t know what this little knife like thing is exactly but it is somewhere between a tweezer and threading–you just put it flat on your skin and drag it along and the hairs disappear. The kit even provides everything for blending and adding brow where you need it. I gotta say, I liked this tool, plus it even worked on my bikini line! It just is an easy way to get precision and clean lines without gaps. It’s $59.99 and can be purchased at Christiharrisbrows.com

*I received the ChristiHarris Brows Planning system for review but did not receive anything for consideration from Lancome.

I have a *terrible* time with my eyebrows too! I’ve bought so many products, including the Anastasia crap and growth serum….either the color looks way too light or too harsh. So you’d seriously recommend spending some dough on this eyebrow kit? Eager to hear your feedback.
Here’s my thoughts–i love the tool because it makes it super easy not to have to tweeze, which sometimes leaves gaps in your brows. It is expensive but I think if you’re obsessive with your eyebrows and you’re buying other stuff like pencils and highlighters it’s almost a bargain! I only use it though to touch up my brows in the shapes that Lancome has defined.
Awesome. Thanks Katie. Ended up buying eyebrow ‘razors’ from the drugstore that have been working pretty well…and much cheaper than paying $50.
