Givenchy Holiday Collection 2009

I was sent some samples from the Givenchy holiday collection for review and I must say I am obsessed. The collection is filled with shimmering goodies for your all your holiday parties and family festivities.

Probably my fave item is the Parad’Eyes Fluid Eyeliner. I tried it in both teh Tender Pearl (pictured below) and the Elegant Pearl. The Tender is a shimmery pink pearl and is gorgeous! It’s an awesome soft and feminine touch to complete any holiday (or even Spring) look. I also tried the Elegant pearl. I liked it but not as much as teh Tender. It’s a sharper silvery shimmer.

See, it’s not so noticeable from far away but up close it’s gorgie!

My other fave item is the Givenchy Gloss Interdit. Now, you know me I don’t like using non-organic lip gloss but every once in a while a girl has gotta have fun. That’s why I go organic on the everyday stuff and stray from my morals for the fun makeup. This gloss is so light but it really made my lips shimmer and pop. Think almost a clear gloss with a little gllitter. I tried to capture it in a pic but it did it no justice. The silver is actually pretty snazzy too.  Not as Lady GaGa as you would think. It also layers nicely over another gloss.
