Reese Witherspoon’s New Perfume: In Bloom for Avon
Nov 15, 2009 Author: Katie Lara | Filed under: Beauty
So maybe Reese sold out a little with her own fragrance, but we’re going to overlook that because we f-ing love her and every movie she’s ever been in since Cruel Intentions.
In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon for Avon features:
Top Notes:
Georgia Peach Tea Leaves, Crisp Greens
Heart Notes:
Star Gardenia, Magical Magnolia, Night Blossoming Jasmine
Base Notes:
Cashmere Woods, Hypnotic Florals, Amber Wood Crystals
In normal people terms that translates to mean that it’s floral-ey but not overly sweet.
In developing In Bloom, Reese said,”The rules of fragrance are simple and finite. Any Cosmo girl would have known.”
Jk……we wish…
She actually did say “In developing In Bloom, I found myself drawn to the scents of my childhood in Tennesse. We had a great big magnolia tree in the backyard and it’s that beautiful white blossom that inspired the perfume.”
I like the stout little bottle. It’s so cute and simple, just like Reesey-poo! However, not what the designers had in mind during design, it’s actually meant to be a flower “in bloom,” quelle shocke! What do you expect though, it’s not rocket science. What, like it’s hard?

Obvs Avon doesn’t have a store you can just stop by and take a sniff but you could totes hit up your Avon rep for some samples to test out how it smells on your skin or visit Avon online to pick up In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon.
