“You smell like a baby prostitute”

Who started this trend? Does anyone even think Celeb-inspired fragrances smell good? I never even smell them. Umm, no thank you I don’t want to smell like Britney Spears or Kim Kardashian. Oh but I’m missing the crucial factor that these celebs probably (and I’m guessing here) don’t even wear their own fragrances! They do star in commercials and sign autographs at Sephora and Macy’s but come on!

The only celeb with any sense is Hermoine, who when asked if she’d be interested in branching out and doing this laughed at the idea. Stay strong Emma Watson! Please stay off the smelly stuff.

You may be surprised to know that sometimes liquidators are actually  hired when a company is going out of business. We’ve been to some liquidation “sales” in the recent months that were atrocious. It’s possible that they even marked up their prices. Why do such a thing? Because they’re looking for suckers! But Smartypanties will not be had! Know the average price of something you’re going to purchase at a liquidation sale before your purchase. Often times customers are lured into a purchase believing they’re saving lots of money (aka me at sample sales, the early years of course) when they’re being ripped off in reality.

Also, if you do find a good deal make sure you like what’s coming home with ya! Once the stores close their doors there won’t be anywhere to return your buyer’s remorseful item to and you’re stuck with it, making your “bargain” a waste of money that’ll  leave you wishing you paid full price for something you really wanted!

Another good thing to know: not all sales are equal! I’ve noticed around town that sometimes different chain stores offer differing sales prices. So don’t abandon a sale figuring you’ll hit the location near your office and expect the same price. In the same vein don’t make a big purchase without checking around. A pain, yes I know, but if you’re strapped for cash it may be your savior!

The National Enquirer is reporting that pretty boy Zac Efron had a cozy dinner with Megan Fox at an L.A. restaurant called Pace, and that Efron’s girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, 20 is not happy about it. There are reports that Hudgens has asked Efron, 21 not to see Fox, star of the Transformers movies, again. She threatened to break up with him if he did.

Efron’s defense was that he was only meeting with Megan because he wanted to work with her on future projects, but Hudgens was having none of it. Though Efron and Fox would probably draw a lot of box office money, the two have no plans as yet for a project together. Hudgens, however, sees Fox as a threat, particularly after she and Efron were seen flirting at a party after the Golden Globe Awards.

Fox, 23, has said she’s a fan of Efron, but she likened her relationship with him to that of a brother and sister. Efron and Hudgens rarely discuss each other in interviews, so little information has come from them. Both have tried in recent months to shed their teen idol personas after being primarily known for teen musical High School Musical.
