I, too had no knowledge at all of what Star Trek was or was about- I actually don't know anything about Star Wars either... used to think they were both the same thing (wrong, I know..) It was a delight, and my fiancee who does know the stories well also enjoyed it! I loved it. And the eyes aren't too difficult to do, I do the look on a regular basis. A steady hand helps, but with a fine point brush it makes for an easy and simple stroke.
