So, I’m not the biggest lip-gloss fan. I hate how my hair gets stuck in it on my way to the subway, not to mention the fact that I feel like I end up swallowing most of it within minutes after application. One day at work I was bored and in an attempt to procrastinate I decided to clean my drawers. I found this lip gloss that hadn’t really gotten much attention since I acquired it and figured I’d put it on. I swear, I’ve never gotten so many compliments from co-workers since I started. Not when I get a haircut, not when I buy a cute outfit…nada. But this lip-gloss really got me a lot of attention. And let me tell you, it TRULY lasted all afternoon even through my two cups of tea and my two cups of water. When I got to dinner, (yes, the early bird special) with my lips still fully intact, I swept up the compliments again. And the best part was that I never experienced any dryness or flakiness. It just seriously stuck! I need to start taking pics. I just get lazy, one day girls…one day…

Oh yeah, and did I mention it only costs pennies–yep, Rimmel is a drugstore brand genius! Grab one at Target, Duane Reade, CVS, you know the deal…

I may act like an airhead on occasion, but I’m no dummy! Brit, I don’t mean to knock your bod but seriously–they wiped away half of you and it’s not fair! It’s just poisoning young girls’ (and old) minds with unrealistic expectations that are impossible to live up to (short of being able to erase cellulite or suck 2 inches off your thighs). How about some responsible advertising!
