Vendors Hold Customers Hostage–One More Reason Not to Purchase Counterfeits
Mar 20, 2009 Author: Katie Lara | Filed under: NewsworthySo this cheap jap loves her luxurious goodies but we do not condone purchasing counterfeit bags (cue Chinatown). Yes, back in the day when we were lowly college students the thought seemed tempting but in the back of our minds we heard our Mother forbidding their purchase. Why? Because she said we would get sold into white slavery once they took us into their secret lairs where the fake bags are kept. Right or wrong it kept us moving along whenever we found ourselves in Fake Purse Mecca, Chinatizzle.
Yesterday, reported the NY POST, “a man selling counterfeit handbags out of a van in Chinatown held two customers hostage for two hours yesterday when cops showed up, police said.” The makeshift counterfeit shops were vans that were parked on Lafayette from Canal to Walker streets. The “shopkeeper” panicked when cops approached and wouldn’t allow the two customers, a woman and man inside the van, to go for 2 hours. He was unarmed and gave up after 2 hours. He was charged with unlawful imprisonment in addition to trademark counterfeiting, the charge filed against the other 20.
All this for some fake Louis Vuitton and Burberry bags that probably don’t even look close to appearing real.
So thanks, Mommy. You were right and I’m glad I never turned to a life of crime with fake bags and got trapped in no van with a Chinatown Entrepreneur! Always the straight and narrow for us!

What do you guys think of fake bags?

Some fake bags look really like the orginal and the only difference is the price.Sometimes its hard to tell the difference between the 2.So it could be ok buying the fake .
